Hey Beauties!

My name is Jesiree. I’m just an ordinary girl who finally learned how to blend her eyeshadow and has way too many nude lipsticks for her own good.

I was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States when I was just five years old with my family. I’ve been bouncing around the New England area for the last five years of my life, but I’ve been self-diagnosed with wanderlust.

My interest in makeup began when I was a young girl who just wanted to play with her mother’s lipsticks and dress up my eyes with bright blue eyeshadow. I’d often be found wearing shoes far too tall for me with an Avon catalogue in my hands. My aunts would show me the new trends and I’d just blissfully look at the pages, wondering when it would be my turn to don such colorful hues.

Love for makeup didn’t stop there for me- I went on to do a bit of theatre in my teenage years and found myself buying heaps of makeup for my varied characters. I learned to emphasize my eyes and lips to be seen in the harsh theatre lights, but I found myself becoming bored in my off-season for theatre. I had piles of makeup just sitting there, almost never seeming to have a purpose once the curtain closes.

From there, I turned to cosplay conventions and live action roleplay to expand my makeup horizons. I not only turned into different characters in plays and musicals, but was inspired by characters in TV and movies. I played with more special effects to add gore to my looks and loved it more and more.

Now, I’m stuck with a makeup addiction and a love for color that rivals my love for cats and coffee. I adore helping others find their own love for makeup and truly finding out about the artistry.
